Rose Leaves

I live in Las vegas Nv. and find growing roses sometimes a challange. although I do have about 70! You would think I would know the answer to my question, which is why the roses when leafing in the late summer are burned and crisp on the tips, also some leaf out small and curled. There is no sign of mites or spiders. I enjoy reading other folks thoughts on roses and find quite a bit of differences geographicly

Generally roses are not easily demaged to due heat. You just have to mulch them very carefully. Once they get their roots cool and moist, they are very hardy. I suggest you to mulch 6 inches at least. Never water the plant during daytime. Water the roses deep and soaky rather than to water them often but in small quantity.
