Last year planted (2) beautiful Playboy Rose trees...They were just fantastic. Followed the directions to winterize them...Mulching at the base & wrapping them in burplap. ...Well nothing so far this year...I am assuming them as lost..I was still feeding & watering the sticks, they are still green at the base....Are they lost & why? I live in zone 5 (Pennsylvania)...

Will it be possible for you to take a photo and upload it for us to view your rose's state?

Roses are generally very rustic, you the grafted stock is not competed dead you have a very high chance of getting a rebounce growth during mid Spring. Keep water the rose, but avoid wetting their stems.
