I love this rose bush because the person who got it for me is no longer in my life, but I haven't been caring for it like I should.
It got Blackspot this year, so I cut it back, and I kept putting off spraying it (for one, it was raining every single day for awhile!), and now it's getting it again, so now... I started spraying it earlier this week, and I redid it yesterday after a rain.. I keep taking off the worst leaves and throwing them away. What do I need to do to help this rose bush? I want to see it at it's best (especially before it gets too hot), and the Blackspot is in an early stage now, since I cut it back, so help!
And thanks!

It sounds like you need to set up a weekly spray program and stick to it anytime it is not raining. It does not guarantee there will be no blockspot though; this rose, along with other yellow roses, is definitely susceptible to blackspot.
