Possible variety

I took a cutting of an old rose from my childhood home... It is a rose that is two stories tall but not a climber. It is a clear bright pink, hybrid tea shaped, and the flowers are 4-5 inches.

Is there any ideas what it could be. I am hoping it's large size narrows it down. It is in zone 6 on the south side of a house built into a hill. It is against a block basement wall that transitions to a brick porch above. The rose goes all the way from what would be the basement floor level to the eves. It rarely has any winter die back.

It has some canes that are 4-6" thick and is a vase shaped shrub with no support.

I suggest posting a picture or looking at roses in books at the library or book stores. There are so many similar ones that it is hard to even guess.

For example, I have a very tall pink Frederic Mistral (that is not yours; FM is not hardy where you live) with similar bloom size and about 7 feet tall.
