Peace rose dries before opening
I have a peace rose tree since the end of march. In the beginning there were a few normal blooms. All of the buds seem to dry out before opening up. The leafs look fine and have no sign of bugs, or fungus or anything. I live in Arizona and it gets full sun. I would be so greatful if anyone can help

Remove the petals of an unopened bud, one at a time, looking for spots on the petals (thrips), browning of the petals (rose midge), other insects or for signs of fungus. Do the same on a flower bud that successfully opened. If you still have no signs of pests or insects, check the soil pH to make sure it is not too acidic or -more likely in AZ- too alkaline.
