Hello,
This is my first time joining the forum, so I'd really appreciate any feedback I can get from anyone
I was wondering: does anyone know of a good set of pruners to use for rose gardening? I have quite small hands, so please take that into consideration...
Thanks!

Hello, gardengrl243. I have an answer for your small hands.
The best hand pruner specifically designed for small hands
is the Felco F6 model. it's expensive compared to other brands,
but its quality should last your lifetime with proper care. The cutting
capacity for these pruners is 0.8 inches. To keep from losing them in the mulch, I recommend buying a scabbard( holster ) so you always have them at hand.
Another brand with a model for small hands is Corona. They are not as
expensive as Felco, but still good quality. The cutting capacity of these pruners is 0.5 inches. You can't go wrong with either of these guys. Take care. By the way, I've had my Corona hand pruners for over 15 years.
Here’s a couple of links to help you out.

I think that the brand isn't as important as the type. I agree with marlin that the best are by-pass or offset pruners, not the anvil type that can smash the stems. My favorites are my 15-year=old Felcos, but my wife dosen't like them for her hand. She buys new ones every few years, always in search of the perfect pair. Go to the store and try some before buying.
