I was out the other morning doing my regular rounds in the garden when two roses caught my eye. They had morning dew on them and were just perfect to take photos of as you can see. There sent was absolutely divine as well. I *love* roses

All great questions... I never really thought about what type they are... they were here when I moved in, but I sure do get a lot of enjoyment out of them. They are pretty tall and I can see them through a window from inside my house which is an added bonus . haha Now you've got me wondering what kind of roses they are.

No tags? When I had roses -- before I let them all go except for one David Austin rose that refuses to die -- I used to leave the metal "dog tags" that came with the shrubs on them and loosen up the wires holding them every spring when I pruned.

Hey Apple Sadly I wasn't the one to buy them, they were already growing here when we moved in and the previous owners didn't leave any tags on them. Is it even possible to Properly I.D a rose? I know there are tons and tons of varieties. I think it would prove very difficult to do.. almost like trying to properly I.D a Begonia.
