Seems like I have read that Knock Out Tree Roses should not be pruned
of spent buds after a heavy blooming as they are supposed to be self-
cleaning ? So what is best to do; prune or not prune these spent blooms
so that it will bloom again.
Since I already have plenty of other shrubs to worry about and things to do, I let my Knockout Rose clean itself. One less thing to do for me! If the number of spent flowers bothers me, I can always deadhead it myself then.
