I have a conservatory rose which keeps growing on it what looks like cobwebs, could anybody please be able to tell me why and what can be done about this, many thanks

It sounds like you have an spider mite infestation if you are detecting thin webbing on the leaves and other areas. You can release beneficial insects such as lady beetles, use insecticidal soaps like Safer or apply a miticide.
