Tree Roses

Hi, I'm from New York. I planted two tree roses last summer in large pots that I kept on my patio. They bloomed rather late but they still flowered. I brought them indoors for the winter. They are starting to have some new growth. My question is, am I supposed to prune off this growth or do I leave it alone? Any other suggestions on how to care for them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah pruning will give them shape and it will allow new blooms and leaves to come up. you should do that as pruning is never harmful
But do light pruning
