My roses have done wonderfully since I joined this forum. I do sincerely appreciate all the information that I have been given. I just have one quick question......or two......hahaha!! Well, my roses have been doing so well, but since the cooler so called winter/fall weather that we have is coming soon......my roses don't seem to be taking colder weather into consideration. They are still putting out new canes and blooms, I did stop feeding them as per guidelines posted on this site......so with that said, what on earth can or should I do about them still putting out new growth??? Will the cooler weather slow them down? It doesn't seem likely we have had of 48+ up to 70's. I am clueless on what I should do or if I can do anything about them still putting forth new growth. Thanks......

Hi Dyvonne! I am so glad to hear that we have been able to help you with your roses.
Not to worry about them going dormant though. As long as you have stopped fertilizing them, they will go dormant in their own time. If they do send out any buds or blooms, do not cut them, as this will just encourage them to keep blooming. Let them bloom and die off naturally.
It is still pretty warm where you are so I wouldn't expect to see much tapering off yet.
My temperature has been between 20 and 50 degrees F, and they are still trying to bloom and grow. They will do it in their own sweet time. Not to worry.
When you get a couple of frosts and freezes, they'll get the message!
