First of all I am not a gardener. I helped build an above ground flower
bed for a neighbor, which she has planted about 18 rose bushes in
it. She is asking me to make a cover for them for the winter. My
question is can I tent a tarp around this and seal the bottom with a
cable to keep wind and pest from getting in. Do these plants need
light, my guess is not, not with other people covering them with cones
and stuff. I just don't want to be to blame for killing them if the tarp
thing doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Randy
