Roses hunched over after it rained in NC for a few days?

Hi,

I have two hybrid tea roses in my garden that I planted last year, well this year they started off perfectly until a few days of rain out here in NC. Now my roses are hunched over to the ground. will they recover? or should I prune the ones that are hanging over. today is 4/08/08 it's not raining anymore the weather is 61 degrees right now the rest of the week will not be raining I hope they are okay :( Thank you all in advanced.

Are you talking about new growth on your roses? I'm not quite clear on that. If it's old growth, than by all means give them a haircut.

thank you for your help:)

I gave them a hair cut and they look great thanks for the advice I guess it was old growth they were way to tall and crowded together I got rid of the weak canes. they were very happy after that:)

Excellent!! I lost one of my big ramblers, sigh. But the other's are doing well and are starting to 'wake up"! I can hardly wait.

:)
