New Zealand rose

I love the color and fragance of New Zealand rose. But so far, its flowers seem to lose their form very quickly, becoming kind of loose and sloppy looking. I just got it a few weeks ago, and I haven't yet taken it out of the nursery pot and put it in the ground. Could that have something to do with it? Will the flowers hold their form longer once the plant is in the ground and established? I don't think it's a heat issue, even though I live in zone 9, because it hasn't been that hot lately. What is your experience with this, anyone? Thanks.

Hello,

I guess some species are more resistance to rain when others are not. Usually roses which are very double can have their blooms last longer.

Amitié,
Pixi
