Rose bush not returning after being cut back

I cut back my rose bushes as well as my pompas grass (sp?) about a month ago. All but one have come back beautifully and I'm afraid I've killed it! I have fertilized, fed and watered but to no avail. It looks lifeless. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Hello Chrissue,

It depends how hard you have cut back your rose bush. Usually if the rose bush is very old, I will not cut back till hard wood. Generally, roses are very steady. Continue to water and check if the cut edges show sign of problem or not.
