This is a new one for me. We live in southern Texas near San Antonio. We've had a lot rain this summer and spring, but also a lot of hot weather too without rain. I've never seen yellow toadstools growing at the bottom, or any where else, on a rose bush. The Bush is in a pot up off the ground, and it has holes in the bottom. Another plant, a Lady Baltimore hibiscus, also has the same yellow toadstools growing at the base of the plant, and it is in it's own pot without holes. The toadstools look like they have woolen hats on with the rim pulled all the way down, or like a ski mask without eye holes, or a bell that is upside down.
Any idea what they might be and how I might get rid of them without hurting the plant?
Thanks,
Patt
I would post a picture, but I don't think this site has an upload feature, am I correct?
