Brown leaves on top
I have a Lilac bush that has brown leaves just on top and is not doing well.My other one is growing very well but the one with brown leaves on top has me puzzeled. Can anyone help?

Not sure if herbicide spray-drift may be involved here but take a few sample leaves in a sealed plastic envelope to a local nursery (that sells lilacs) or, better yet, an extension service office if you have a nearby one. They should be able to check for lilac blight. Its treatment involves pruning and destroying the affected areas. A bacteria causes that problem and wet weather helps it "bloom". I am not sure that moisture problems would cause brownout only on the top leaves but check anyways.
