this plant is a weed next to the road near my place
I like it and am wondering what it is and if it would be good or bad to transplant some to my garden
the flowers are pale purple, what looks like pink in the pictures is actually lavender color
the leaves are lacy

…looks like it’s yarrow to me.
Tough and drought tolerant. White with pale color flowers are species but colored flowers are cultivated
Bee and butterflies magnet, tolerates being mowed short and stepped on — I’m working on replacing a section of front lawn with a swath.
Left to grow in a bed can reach 18+ inches.
IF yarrow, also good for tea and medicinal.
