Michigan Wildflower? Wildedible?

Photographed by a friend in Michigan. Has a distinct fragrance when cut/crushed — she thinks smells like something she ate in Asian restaurant.... Does anyone know what this is?

super familiar, but it's not coming to me right off...but I don't think it's a buttercup.

My friend emailed that it has been ID’d as motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca). I’ve heard of it but don’t think I’m familiar with it.
