What is this Wild Plant?

Any idea what this mystery plant is?

It seems to propagate by vines underground (suckers). It's very common here in the midwest, and seems to grow almost like an invasive species. Baby buckthorn, perhaps?

What do you think?

the pics aren't real clear, but it looks like oriental bittersweet. yeah, it's pretty invasive.

Thanks for your reply. Doing some research on it, I think you're right on the money.

And it is invasive, I can attest to that personally. The good news is that, with my rather small suburban yard, it's not hard for me to pull it out to prevent it from strangling trees, etc.
