What houseplant is this?

Could anyone tell me what plant this is? My grandpa gave it to me and said it's called a tree of life but I Googled it and didn't see any plants that look like it.
Also, its growing all over the place should I tie it to a stake in the middle? Thank you!

I'm betting this is Kalanchoe pinnata.

It does look like that. I know it as baloon plant or air plant. The pods are filled with air and as kids we liked to pop them.

Ooh leaf of life, not tree of life, my bad! I still don't see a resemblance between mine and what shows up on Google, but I will take it as all three agree that's what it is! I appreciate the help, thank you! :)

It grows more upright for me, but it grows outside. Yours may be trailing because it is inside instead.

K. pinnata has compound leaves as it gets older. If the foliage never morphs into that phase, it may be K. blossfeldiana.
