Close, but I think it is actually dock, sometimes called curly dock
Dock:
Burdock:
leaves are more triangular.
Dock is an edible weed: "Among its nutritional components, John Kallas (2010) explains, “Curly dock leaves are high in beta-carotene, vitamin C, and zinc” and the seeds are “rich in calcium and fiber while low in protein and fat.” https://eattheinvaders.org/blue-plate-sp ... urly-dock/
You can use it as a salad green, especially when young and tender, or a cooked green.

Ummm .... I looked closer at the pictures. It will be easier to tell when it is a little bigger, but it could be that potatoes was right and I was wrong!
Burdock is also edible in the sense that it has nutritive and medicinal value. But unlike dock, it takes much more preparation to use, because on its own it is quite bitter. https://www.eattheweeds.com/burdock-banquet/ The article notes burdock (probably burdock root) was in the original recipe for root beer.
