Plant ID

Hello, this plant sprung up on the edge of my garden bed and I have no idea what it is. It sprung up pretty quickly and is about 7 or 8 feet tall I would like to take it out but I want to identify it first. Can anyone help?

Thanks for the responses. At first glance I thought it was ragweed too but after looking it up I don't think it's a type of ragweed since it has individual serrated leaves connected to the branch rather than a three or five lobed leaf.
