Not any willow I am familiar with. Their leaves are usually much more long and narrow:

It would help if you tell us how big the tree or shrub this came from is (better yet show a picture showing the whole tree or shrub) and tell us where you are located.

That is interesting. They're not like any willow I'm familiar with, but they definitely are willows and some of those pics look amazingly like the OPs pics. If I'm not careful, I learn something new every day. :)
