This plant is short, about 5" tall. It is growing near a small pond in my yard. It looks like it did/or in going to bloom. Any ideas? I am in Colorado, zone 5b Thank you

Are the undersides of the leaves fuzzy? It kinda looks like butterbur which likes moist conditions and is a perennial herb. It likes to be in the shade. The leaves get big but rounder as they age.

Yep, I think that's it! Thank you VERY much! I do not have a clue how it got there, but we have allot of birds and we always seem to have strange plants appear :)

My mom has Chameleon growing on the side of her house. It has over run everything and taking over the grass. Then the ole man put some down by the water. My GF has been digging it up and tracing down the roots but it comes right back. The roots hide in with other roots. My mom has been spraying each leaf with the evil RU but it keeps on going. She wants me to put fabric and mulch down to try and stop it. I told her it will just hide in the juniper and hibiscus roots and squeeze up where I cut hole for the plants she wants to keep.
