What is the flowering wild plant?

Could someone please ID the purple-flowering wild plant (weed) closest to the brick wall? I see this all over the place in the suburbs and towns in the great lake states. It should be easy to ID but I wasn't able to figure it out by googling. Thanks for your help.

Is it a salvia? Looks kind of Salvia-ish.

Compare it to roving (aka creeping) bellflower (Campanula rapunculoides)

Marc, you nailed it. It's definitely creeping bellflower. Thank you!

It's amazing that it's sprung up in a line like this behind my hastas. I didn't plant it and it's odd to have a plant take over like this and look almost like it was planted on purpose. But I'm sure glad it's there, it's very pretty. Cheers.
