What is this weed grass?

I've had these photos long enough and still am not sure what weed grass this is. It seems to have a yellow flower and I can't find a grass with such a flower. For a while I thought it might be some kind of crabgrass, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

I know it's just a common weed but I haven't figured out which one.

I don't know what it is, but I don't think it's grass since it has flowers like that.

I feel like it reminds me of something, but I can't remember what.

As a possibility ...Tragopogon pratensis......Goats Beard?

Yeah, I was thinking not grass. The leaves that the flower is coming out of in the middle picture are broader than grass leaves.

yup, that flower bud is conspicuously not grass. I'm with jona, it's salsify/tragopogon.

It certainly looks like you are right, JONA878. These yellow flowers are confusing me more and more. The various wild lettuces and thistles are also mind numbing. I may post a couple of those before long. Thanks again. I'm sure you are all correct on this ID.
