Yellow flower on roadside

Here's a photo I took of a wild flower on June 30 that was growing on the roadside near a creek. It looks like a vine in the photo. Any ideas on what it might be?

First thought was that it was a yellow-flowered henbit, Marc.

Do you think it might be a yellow-flowered lamium vine of some sort?

I will be on a desktop later and do some searching.

Steve, I tried finding yellow-flowered henbit and lamium with yellow flowers but didn't find anything. I do see what makes you think that. I hadn't noticed the leaves in the upper left corner.

Your comment did lead me around until I came across a site (below) that showed a similar picture but called it "Prostate" St John`s Wort. I'm not sure if they meant prostrate but I wasn't aware that St. John's Wort was ever a vine. Even so, I couldn't find anything else about such a plant.

Well, you gotta wonder about a source that mixes up prostrate & prostate . . . altho' I have trouble with those words, too. Shrubby St. John's Wort . . ? Hubby St. John's Wort?

Well, you gotta wonder about a source that mixes up prostrate & prostate . . . altho' I have trouble with those words, too. Shrubby St. John's Wort . . ? Hubby St. John's Wort?

My flower is in rough shape so it's hard to be sure but these do look a lot alike. Furthermore, Lysimachia nummularia grows in my county. I think this might be a match. Thanks Steve!
