new pic of mystery plant

Wed Aug 14, 2013 3:38 am

This is the plant no one seems to be able to tell me what it is, is is now taller than my head and no blooms, seeds, or anything. Got a good closeup of a leaf maybe it will help identify it.Image

Sorry, I can't see the picture. The page is blank.
Happy gardening in Hawaii. Gardens are where people grow.

Yeah, no picture. When you do post a picture, remember along with the leaf close up, we really need a picture of the whole plant and the branching structure. Is your plant woody? hollow stemmed?

Could it be this:

Without seeing your picture, that is of course a total guess based on what is the commonest weed in my garden to get that big -- pokeweed.

You said new pic - does that mean you posted an earlier pic of this same mystery plant? If so, you should keep them together in the same thread.

Please put your location in your profile, so it shows under your screen name as mine does. It is hard to answer any gardening question, even plant ID's without knowing what part of the world/country you are in. We do have people writing in here from South Africa, Australia, Malaysia, etc etc as well as all over the US and the US comprises at least 8 different gardening zones (by cold hardiness, more in other systems)......
