On the verge: Last year I thought plant 1 was catnip. This year, I know it isn't but I don't know what it is. However, I found plant 2 at the far end of the verge and I'm sure that IS catnip. It smells minty.

Plant 2
I'm sure this one is catnip. What do you think?
Plant 3
This plant is growing near the drainage ditch next to my yard. I've been waiting for it to bloom but it's taking forever.

what does your catnip smell like if the leaves are bruised?

Rainbow, it doesn't smell anything like licorice, more like mint. This isn't a very good photo but on the back of the leaf, the ribs look hairy, while nothing else does. Also, the petioles are long. The one thing that bothers me, is the color. Mine is more dusty green than the catnip in other photos seem to be. So, what do you think? Any ideas on that last plant?
