Pretty yellow flowers, but what in the world are they?!?

These are a bush of flowers that were here when I moved in, and yes these are also some of the sad neglected plants in my partner's yard that I have been trying to resuscitate, and did pretty good with it I believe. :mrgreen: But now, I would like to know what it actually is, LOL! Can anybody help? :)

LOL! You're asking me?!? Thank you for the laugh and the name of what this thing is. I was thinking it might be a wild rose, but really had no idea for certain. :)

Hypericum calycinum is latin name... bloom now in my garden to... :cool:
