Jack-In-The-Pulpit?

I thought these sprouts were Arisaema triphyllum, but now I'm not so sure. What do you think?

my first guess is mayapple emerging.

And a good guess it is. I thought there were mayapples in that area last year, but I never saw the apples. Maybe I'm getting out in time to see them, this year. Here's another picture:

OH! That's it, for sure. I do have bloodroot but I've only seen it in the late summer. Here's a photo from last summer.

I wanted to repeat that you were right about the Mayapples in the first picture. I had gotten the plants mixed up and thought they were the same. The second is definitely bloodroot as you also said.
