should I prune this vine?

Hello, I am a new home owner with the beautiful tressis vine. Now that it is Spring, should I prune away all the dead vegetation or will it simply fall-off as the new vegetation grows. (note: there are storms/rain in the near forecast).
Thanks,

Cut it back. The dead growth will just hang around; the new growth will push its way through and around the dead growth. I'd cut back to main branches myself, not knowing what kind of vine this is, just so I wouldn't have to train the vine around the building again.

I had a honeysuckle vine that was over-grown like, what ever vine, you have and I just started cutting out anything that was growing where I didn't want it. I was sure pretty after that.

Things in that condition I usually just cut back until I reach live plant. When you cut some of the outer stuff off you will see it's brown all the way through and dry, making it dead. Cut back until you get to live plant material and green under the outer vine cover.
