What's this little cactus?

I noticed this little cactus (?) in the front yard last year when it bloomed.

It barely stands above ground level except the blooms, which are 2-3 inches tall.

Does anyone know what type it is? How easy or hard would it be to propagate?

It looks like a Mammillaria

I believe you're right. It looks a lot like this one I found on the net

I think mine are stunted because they get mowed regularly. No one knew they were there to protect them from the mowers. I may try to relocate them to a safer spot.
