I had to enlist hubby's help. He is much better at sporting critters than I am: Head of a snake in the upper right corner! ...and now I see as you did, the tail curling around the central pant and connect the rest of the body

I am surprised you still have snakes moving around this time of year. Even down south I rarely see snakes in December/January.
