I had to enlist hubby's help. He is much better at sporting critters than I am: Head of a snake in the upper right corner! ...and now I see as you did, the tail curling around the central pant and connect the rest of the body :shock:

Do you know what kind of snake? -- snake is not one of my specialties Does anyone?

It's just a little garter snake. Not at all dangerous.

Very cool :!: I am surprised you still have snakes moving around this time of year. Even down south I rarely see snakes in December/January.

No, no. The photo was taken this summer. They'd be in trouble if they came out this time of year.
