Is this an invasive plant?

I have this mystery plant growing in abundance where I want to put my garden. Does anyone know what type of plant this is?

Well sir, I believe that is pokeweed.

Not native to my part of the world so I could be wrong.

Looks more like Impatiens balsamina to me... American poke generally has brilliant red stems, even as young plants.

poke tends to have smooth edges, too.

Thank you for the replies. It would be a nice treat if they all bloom like the link shows. I find it very interesting how they all open their leaves up in the morning and close up at night, fun to watch with so many together.

Maybe I'll let them finish out the season and make a garden decision next year (already have a small one)

*edit* upon a little further research pokeweed appears to be the front runner. I am located in zone 3 therefore this is a tough perennial.
