Help IDing Wild Plant

I found this on Rock Island, a small island in Lake Michigan, it was growing on the edge of the sand dune / wooded area.

that's a tiny little picture for me, and I can't seem to make it bigger. looks like spiderwort or a dayflower of some sort, though (from way back here).

I'm not familiar with your part of the world but it looks like a false Solomon's seal (Smilacina sp.). See if that gets you anywhere.
