unidentified tree with pods

The tree is small, more like a shrub about 4 foot tall. It has thin oval shaped leaves about 5 inches. The pods are green and kind of shaped like a fat peanut. About 2-3 inches long. I busted one open and it had 3 white bean looking things in itm I hab no idea what it is, I just moved into this house last year and it was in my front yard.

A picture would help A LOT. without one, it's very difficult to identify.
