We thought it could be tobacco and so didn't remove it.. or maybe its just a weed? There are 2 about 2 feet high in the yard.

I seem to remember having heard of poke as being poisonous to livestock and a nuisance.. is that right?

So this is what it looked like when we pulled it out of the ground. Is it poke? I looked it up and it said something about 10 foot long roots.. these look more like some kind of potato?

edit: nevermind.. I looked on image search and it is what it is!!
