I believe it is a common weed - what is the name?

Hi,

I have had this weed tree growing in my backyard for years. It doesn't seem really invasive so I let it live. It has these tiny red-pinkish flowers every Spring. I see these same trees/plants in hills sometimes. So I believe it is pretty common around here.

Nerium oleander. Weed, yes, and also deadly poisonous. Handle with care.

Well lucky me, I also got Castor bean growing in the yard behind me too. And the damn seeds sprout everywhere. I never really handle the Oleander but occasionally prune it.

You will recognize oleander if you drive I-5. It is planted with oleander in the median strip for miles and miles and miles.
