New home in Colorado....Plant ID help?

Hello Everyone!

I took some pictures today and am stumped as to just what these plants are.

The house we purchased was a foreclosure that did not see water from the sprinklers or any care for almost 2 years. We have been carefully scraping out the rock gardens and have discovered some plants that are actually showing some green due to the unusually warm weather we are having.

We live at 7300' along the front range in Colorado.

Saving the plants is a goal of ours as the neighbors have all said that the landscaping on our property was beautiful. Figured that trying to recover what could be saved would be beneficial to us.

Some of the trees have some tags on them but others do not. When I can get some pics with leaves and such I will post them up.

So here goes!!! All plants are in the rock beds....

Plant A

Plant B

Plant D (this one is in many areas and is red and has long stems that seem to creep along.

Plant E

Hopefully you all can get me pointed in the right direction. Thanks for all the assistance!!!!

I cannot ID them at their present state of growth, but they appear to be succulents. I would offhand guess some type of sedum. I have them as groundcover in various areas of my front yard; some of the plants are yellow and others red. They spread nicely and are quite attractive. I get many compliments on them.

I don't know what the first pic or the last one might be. The rest look like succulents, though. Others may have more accurate IDs for you, however. :)

Thanks Kisal,

I know it is kind of tough when they are in this state...Hopefully they will start taking off soon!

I have some varieties of Delosperma coming in seed form next week so I will see how they do as well!

I'm thinking the first one might be creeping phlox and I was also thinking sedum for the middle ones. But it is difficult to tell until they put out new growth.

Thanks Rainbow....

Will post up some more pictures when a bit more growth is up on them!

Kind of neat to see these "mystery" plants in the xeriscaping :)
