I could be totally off base but it looks like a woody plant and reminds me of an azalea.

It is a shrub. It's a little hard to tell which at such an early stage. Once it is more leafed out, it will be easier and when it blooms it will be a cinch! It's not really saying lilac to me, but again, this early on, I could be wrong.
