Please I need help identifying my mystery plant!

Hi everyone
I purchased my first home and along with it came along a patio full of all kinds of plants!
Well there is one very unusual and unique plant that I cannot identify and
the owner has passed away so I have no one to ask for help.
The reason it's so important to me is because I have no idea how to care for it and don't want to kill it by overwatering etc!
So please, any help will be greatly appreciated!

I can't see your pic(s). It looks to me as though they are in your mail folder on AOL? When I click the link, AOL wants me to sign in.
