I would use several smaller ones in different areas and not waste as much heat and have less hot spots

I am having a small (6x6') leanto greenhouse built on the west side of my back deck. I have been looking online at oil filled heaters. Can someone give me any opinion on these heaters? They are not very expensive to buy, and I like the idea of radiant heat as opposed to forced air flow.

What ever heating source is used, remember that having adequate circulating fans near the ceiling is as important for both uniform heating and conservation, is any decision about the specific kind of heating device. Without fans, the vast majority of warm air will be in the top 2-3 feet of the green house. The air movement provided by the fans will also help to grow more hearty plants and will help avoid conditions that promote various diseases.

Green houses are quite common and have many uses. You can find many people using green houses to over winter their plants or to get a head start on some vegetables and flowers.

Its been really cold but my solar greenhouses have not froze since the water storage kept them above freezing I was getting worried with the 5 degree up to 15 for a few days and lots of cloudy days! Water storage the key to success even with a heated greenhouse!
