thermostat for fan?

Hey all, we have a ventilation fan in our greenhouse and are looking for a plug in thermostat for use with it, so it will automatically turn on and off at certain temperatures. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
Your fan will probably pull some amperare so you need a thermostat that can carry the current OR install a circuit relay.

My favorite is a k-kontrol it can carry the amps and can be wired to run heaters or coolers. Its also built for industrial and humid atmosphere's

They sell thermastats for attic fans for about $35 at lowes. The thermastats are direct 120 current!! You may also consider a timer that may kick on at the hot times of the day. The timers are cheaper about $10. I have my fans kick on from 10am till 8 pm! You can even have a set of two fans with the second coming on at the peak of the heat!
