Drying flowers

Hi I Just started a flower garden this year and I was wondering how you go about drying flowers I have tried it before with no luck... also I was wondering if you can cut the heads off of flowers and let there seeds dry and then use them again next summer and if so what is the best way to fry the seeds out??

Many perennials can be propagated by division or layering and seeds sometimes take forever to germinate I.e., lavender, and then transplanting to larger pots so why don't you try increasing your perennials an easier way. I have included a website that helps homeowners increase the color in their landscape.
