Ruella Simplex, aka Mexican Petunias...

According to the "internet", these are supposed to grow to 3 ft tall in the wild and 2 ft under cultivation. Mine were all planted in June '21, grew to ~ 3 ft, and were cut back to 18" over winter, mainly to help shape them. I have no idea how tall they will get, currently they are at 6 ft and still growing and I'll have to cut them soon as they tend to flop over after a rain.

Anyone else growing these? I know they are considered invasive in FL...
