Help with Mona Lavender

HELP! I have had two Mona Lavender plants that have been doing great since I bought them (both potted) until recently. Once the weather got hot one has started to severly wilt. The soil is moist and I actually moved the wilting one inside thinking that the soil had been getting too moist since we have had so much rain. Is there anything I can do to save it? I love plants, but have really bad luck with them!

Hi FLMOM,
I love Mona Lavender.
Monas do not tolerate too much direct sunlight. With the higher temperatures in your area for the next two to three months, you want them to be in mostly shade. Bringing the plants indoors for a while may help if the soil is abundantly damp, but place in a bright location. They are a zone 10 plant but I found they did better for me in FL if they got morning sun until about 11am, then indirect light from there. Or, dappled sunlight (mostly shade, like under oak trees).
Hope that helps!

Thank you Grey. I will try moving it. Right now it is getting indirect light, but mostly afternoon sun. I will try a new location. Thanks!

The afternoon sun could be your culprit. Good luck :)
