Possibly obedient plant, physostegia virginiana, which comes in lots of different pinks and purples as well as white:

If it is, you can bend one of those flower spikes over and it will stay where you put it, for awhile. That's where the obedient plant name comes from and it is a test.

The blooms look a bit like obedient plant but the way it's blooming up the stock is a bit different and the bloom size looks daintier. Depending on where you're located and when the photo was taken, it may also be pretty early for obedient plant blooms.

What about Veronica longifolia? It starts blooming in June and comes in shades of pink, purple, and blue.
