Frosty Fern

My hubby got me a frosty fern, first fern I have ever had, I have it in a pie pan that has water in it and it is sitting on a bottom of a recycled dish that he cut. The pot is not in the water so it is getting humidity around it. It sure perked up after I put it in that. Here is a picture of it.

Very pretty.
I tried those, but for me they are hard. I have little light in the house .

My fern has gotten dry and I don't know if I can revive it. It does not seem to want to take water, should I just admit defeat and toss it?

Is the root system the part that is refusing to take water? If so you just need to give it a good soaking. It might need repotting but the root system needs to be hydrated before trying that.
